The city of Kukes is situated in the north-eastern part of Albania and has a population of about 59,393 inhabitants. In close support and cooperation with residents, the systemization of these neighbourhoods revitalizes the area, making the public spaces functional and creating a complementary standard for all residents.

Given that the area encountered problems for a long period of time and the infrastructure was completely missing, the Albanian Development Fund with the rehabilitation of neighbourhoods 4, 5 and 6 intends to create convenience, security and access for community’s movement. As a result of time requirements and necessities, the intervention will significantly affect quality of life, giving optimal solutions to problems of infrastructure and not only. Through the rehabilitation of its areas, it gets a new dimension for revitalization and its development onwards.
