Tirana-The Albanian Development Fund announces new interventions planned from north to south Albania. The projects aims to serve the community and cover a number of key areas in the country such as: infrastructure, tourism, local and national economies, partnerships, urban development and social benefits.

Work has begun on the reconstruction of the "Muzak Topia" street. Increasing of tourist's number requires improvement of the geometry of this road, its expansion to cope with the traffic of visitors who frequent Berat Castle.

Interventions consist in:

  • Road extension and pavements with stone slabs;
  • Lighting of the road ;
  • Sewage;
  • Reconstruction of the square with cobblestone;
  • Parking space for tourist vehicles / buses;
  • Greening ;
This intervention is implemented in the framework of the Integrated Urban and Tourism Development Program, financed by the World Bank for 70,000 residents, as well as facilitating access only for the period (January-June 2019 - for 57341 visitors / tourists)
