TIRANA-Urban requalification of Roskovec is in progress, funded by the government of Albania and implemented by the Albanian Development Fund.

The project foresees a series of interventions across the block known as block no. 2. Part of these interventions are the Municipality building and some important institutions such as the Police Commissariat, educational institutions, etc.

In addition to the construction of the new municipal building, the project foresees development interventions for all urban activity. These interventions consist in the reconstruction of the bloc's main road, underground infrastructure networks, signaling and lighting. This road will reduce the traffic in the boulevard zone, which will be reconstructed with stone tiles and will serve as a pedestrian zone. The facades of the buildings will be completely reconstructed with all relevant elements; while along the block constructed recreational will be facilities with playgrounds, recreational spaces, green spaces, etc.

The total surface treated is 3, 5 hectares. The aim of the project is to improve the visual aspect of the city and at the same time increase the functionality of this space for citizens.
