TIRANA- Reconstruction works are intensified in “Ismail Qemali” Boulevard, Vlore, during off peak season.

The first part of the boulevard, from the roundabout near Lungomare to the intersection with “Petrit Bisha” street is almost complete. Reconstruction works start next week in the segment from Cipaj’s intersection to the industrial school. This segment has a length of roughly 300 meters. During reconstruction works Cipaj's intersection will remain in use to facilitate the circulation of vehicles and citizens.

As in the first segment, works consists on interventions of existing underground infrastructure, paving, urban lightening installation, development of green spaces, etc.

 

 

Project implementation of “Reconstruction of the central boulevard “Ismail Qemali”, Vlore, started in summer and will be completed within this year. This project is financed by the Albanian government with Council of Europe Development Bank support and is implemented by the Albanian Development Fund in the framework of “Community Works IV” program.

Infrastructure investments such as the boulevard, Lungomare, “Dhimiter Konomi” street, city ring road, Transbalcanic road, Kanina road,etc, have transformed Vlora into the capital of elite tourism.
