TIRANA- All visitors and tourists that will travel to the Albanian Alps and to Valbona Valley may find all the necessary information on the area, the activities and the most interesting sites to visit in the newly opened info center.

The office located in Valbona National Park started operating in the first of August by the Albanian Development Fund in the frame of Community Works IV project, financed by the Albanian government and the Council of Europe Development Bank(CEB).

The office will remain open during the entire season and it will provide specific and professional information to all the local businesses, tour agencies to promote their services, products and traditional values, local products and culinary.

The tourist’s information office is part of a broad intervention that is expected to kick off at the end of the season. It aims at establishing the first Professional center on Tourism Development, which will lead to the development of the Albanian Alps as a tourist’s destination.

The work for the construction of the center is expected to begin in October 2018 and to complete by the start of the next summer season. With over 600,000 visitors in 2017, the area of the Albanian Alps is among the fastest growing tourist destinations in Albania.

Civil works for the construction of this center is foreseen to start in October 2018.
