{"id":4241,"date":"2018-12-14T14:16:07","date_gmt":"2018-12-14T13:16:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.albaniandf.org\/?p=4241"},"modified":"2018-12-14T14:19:17","modified_gmt":"2018-12-14T13:19:17","slug":"request-for-expressions-of-interest-consulting-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.albaniandf.org\/en\/2018\/12\/14\/request-for-expressions-of-interest-consulting-services\/","title":{"rendered":"REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST &#8211; Consulting Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Implementing\nAgency:<\/strong> Albanian Development Fund<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Country: <\/strong>Albania<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project: <\/strong>Regional and Local Roads Connectivity\nProject (RLRCP) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Loan No.: <\/strong>8850-AL<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assignment\nTitle:<\/strong> \u201cSupervision services for\nroads reconstruction (approx. 45 km)&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reference No: <\/strong>RLRCP\/1\/1.6\/2018<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Issued on: <\/strong>December 14, 2018<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Government of Albania has\nreceived a financing from the World Bank &#8211; International Bank for\nReconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of the Regional and Local Roads Connectivity Project (RLRCP),\nand intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The consulting services (\u201cthe Services\u201d) include contract\nadministration and management duties throughout the duration of the assignment\nto secure smooth and timely implementation, proper supervision and control of\nthe Project. For this purpose, the Consultant shall establish clear lines of\nresponsibility and procedures for each activity in the construction process.\nThe duration of the project is foreseen for 18 (eighteen) months and a further 24\nmonths of Defects Notification Period. A total of 144 MM is foreseen for the\nassignment, including the visits during DNP are report productions. The\nexpected period for the service commencement is March 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Objective of the service consist:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Carry out the supervision of three or more\n     adjacent road works contracts, based on the available designs and bidding\n     documents prepared by a separate consultant. The consultant\u2019s team will\n     provide for both overall management and also supervision of the works\n     contracts. <\/li><li>The supervision services comprise working\n     with the successful contractors to ensure an orderly start-up and timely\n     execution of the works; a full array of quality assurance activities;\n     certification of payments; co-ordination with road works stakeholders;\n     contract administration; minor designs for problems encountered;\n     development of variation orders as needed, including scoping, independent\n     pricing, and negotiation; communication and facilitation of communication\n     among all necessary parties and reporting monthly progress.<\/li><li>The Consultant will, through its\n     supervision teams and central support resources, assist the Client (ADF)\n     in all contract management tasks, including the preparation for, and\n     execution of, the taking over of any elements of the works. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the\nassignment can be found at the following\nwebsite: https:\/\/www.albaniandf.org.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Albanian Development Fund now invites eligible\nconsulting firms (\u201cConsultants\u201d) to indicate their interest in providing the\nServices.
