  1. Funding Details<\/strong>\n

    The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from\/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s).<\/p>\n

    Additional financing information:
    \nThe Albania Infrastructure and Tourism-Enabling Project \u201cthe Project\u201d is financed by the European Union through technical assistance and investments grants for a total amount of EUR 40 million, and by complementary sovereign loan facility provided by the EBRD to the Government of Albania. The Project is implemented by the Albanian Development Fund as executing agency (the \u201cClient\u201d) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the \u201cBank\u201d). The EU grants are identified by the EU in close cooperation with the Albanian Development Fund. Grant Recipient is: Republic of Albania.<\/p>\n

    2. Information on the Procurement Exercise<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Contracts will be subject to the Bank’s Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.<\/p>\n

    The type of contract and the procurement method is stated above. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and is available free of charge in ECEPP.<\/p>\n

    The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.<\/p>\n

    This procurement exercise will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP).     3. Other Information<\/strong>
    \nThe scope of the Works is to improve the circulation of bicycles and pedestrians, increasing the safety of movement for all the traffic users in the road section between the old Bune Bridge and the rehabilitated Shiroka Promenade, having a total length of 2,940m.
    \nThe works include:
    \n\u2022Reconstruction of the sidewalk on one side or the road with two-direction bicycle lane and a pedestrian walkway and replacement of existing railings.
    \n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Installation of new urban lighting, consisting of 2-arm and new underground connection with the existing electrical line.
    \n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Construction of 3no. viewpoints, as points of rest and observation.
    \n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Constrution of a parking area for approx. 20no. vehicles.
    \n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Installation of urban furniture, traffic signs and information boards<\/p>\n
