  1. The Government of Albania (hereinafter called \u201cthe Government\u201d) has received a loan (hereinafter called \u201cthe Loan\u201d) from the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) (hereinafter called \u201cthe Fund\u201d) toward the financing of the Requalification of the Coastline Vlor\u00eb \u2013 Radhim\u00eb \u2013 Orikum Project, in the Vlora Region. The Government intends to apply part of the Loan to eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation for Prequalification is issued.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. \u201cAlbanian Development Fund\u201d (hereinafter called ADF, hereby invites independent Contractors to submit a tender proposal for the \u201cRequalification of the Coastline Vlor\u00eb \u2013 Radhim\u00eb \u2013 Orikum\u201d, Lot 2, Contract CWC\/ICB\/2022\/2.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. ADF is the Contracting Authority (The Employer)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. The implementation period shall be 24 months followed by a 12 months Defects Notification Period.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            \n
          1. The tendering procedure is International Competitive Bidding to all eligible Tenderers as defined in Guidelines for the Procurement of Goods, and contracting for the execution of Works of Saudi Fund for Development;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>https:\/\/www.arabfund.org\/Data\/site1\/pdf\/GUIDELINES_FOR_THE_PROCUREMENT%202001.pdf<\/a><\/h5>\n

            \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>and it will follow the post-qualification procedure. Criteria to be used in evaluation are: (i) Eligibility, (ii) Financial Situation in the past 5 years, (iii) Construction Experience, (iv) Human and Equipment Resources, (v) Construction Methodology (vi) Litigation History and Others.<\/p>\n

            1. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive offer by evaluation of the above criteria and subsequently compering the entire bid submitted. The Evaluation Report must receive the prior approval and No-objection of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD). The awarded Tenderer should be registered in Albania before signing the contract.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                \n
              1. Interested Tenderers may obtain further information from the Albanian Development Fund at the address below during office hours (Monday to Thursday, 08:00 am to 16:30 pm and Friday 08:00 to 14.00). A complete set of tender documents in English<\/em><\/strong> language<\/strong><\/em> may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 150 Euro (one hundred and fifty) <\/em><\/strong>by bank transfer with appropriate evidence to:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
