The Government of Albania has received a financing from the World Bank – International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of the Regional and Local Roads Connectivity Project (RLRCP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.<\/p>\n

The Program for the integrated Development of 100 Villages has identified as a necessity the creation and development of promotional activities to enrich the touristic and agriculture offer and as a result, development of the local economy aiming at enhancing cooperation, promotion and bringing life to these areas, increasing tourist attraction and economic activity.<\/p>\n

For this purpose, ADF is looking for experienced expertise to provide support in analyzing the situation, program, and design these activities, and strengthen the capacities enabling the implementation of the program and guaranteeing its continuity.<\/p>\n

This consultancy will assist the establishment of an integrated program for the development of promotional activities with a focus on the area of 100 V that aims to link agricultural producers to local demand through local markets and tourism centers and promote agro-tourism activity.<\/p>\n

The duration of the project is foreseen for 7 (seven) months. The expected period for the service commencement is May 2022.<\/p>\n

The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment are attached to this request for expressions of interest.<\/p>\n

10. ToR Promoting agro-tourism<\/a><\/p>\n

The Albanian Development Fund now invites eligible consulting firms (\u201cConsultants\u201d) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.<\/p>\n

Key Experts will not be evaluated at the shortlisting stage.<\/p>\n

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank\u2019s \u201cProcurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers\u201d July 2016, as amended, setting forth the World Bank\u2019s policy on conflict of interest.<\/p>\n

Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications, but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and\/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected.<\/p>\n

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Consultant\u2019s Qualifications Based Selection (CQS) method set out in the Procurement Regulations.<\/p>\n
