The city of Elbasan is located in central Albania and is differently known as the \u2018capital city of the summer day\u2019 (pagan holiday), where visitors came from all over the country to celebrate on 14 of March. One of the most populated areas on special occasions (and not only) is the city center, in which the project \u2018Rehabilitation of the central park on the city of Elbasan\u2019 is being implemented for systematization of infrastructure and the creation of functional spaces in the center.<\/p>\n
Albanian Development Fund is toward completion of the project in order to create a dynamic space for the development of social activities, serving its inhabitants. The investment aims to increase quality of open public spaces in accordance with the important historical, cultural and religious elements carried by the city center of Elbasan.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe square was not functional earlier, public places lacked and we have been seeking this change for quite a long time. At least, we will have an area to spent time with our children in the afternoon.\u201d<\/em> Resident of the area<\/p>\n The intervention unifies its architecture and revitalises all surrounding area, giving it a new contemporaneous dimension.
