During 2011, the Albanian Development Fund is implementing three infrastructure programs: Secondary and Local Roads Program“The Improvement of Secondary and Local Roads” Program, co-financed by the World Bank and other donors at the cost of $ 400 million US, aims at increasing the concrete efforts for the improvement of infrastructure in the country and for increasing the access to basic services and markets, especially in rural areas via the rehabilitation of 1500km of road network.Read more about the Secondary and Local Roads Program project Community Works Program IIICommunity Works Program III aims at improving the living conditions of the inhabitants in rural areas by promoting a sustainable socio-economic development through improving basic infrastructure , and increasing community participation in decision-making at local level.
