Selection
The selection of the subprojects to be financed is based on a set of rational, measurable and objective criteria, defined in collaboration with the Donors. Our feasibility studies offer the chance to finance the subprojects that have the highest impact, taking into account both the poorness of the communities we work with as well as the development opportunities of the area. These criteria are clear and understandable for the beneficiaries and can be easily transferred to the officials of the LGU-s we work with. The evaluation is made by ADF specialists (social inspectors, sociologists/social workers) that have a clear understanding of the social and economic situation of the LGU-s where the subprojects will be implemented and specialists of the technical possibilities and financial pre-evaluation of the proposals (technical inspectors, engineers). ADF also has a special emphasis on the environmental feasibility of the subprojects.
