The Community Center of Bulgarec, on Monday 31st May 2010, from 11-12.30 hours a.m. organized at its premises the activity with the theme “Children’s Rights, learn them! Ask for them! Protect them!”

This activity was attended by authorities of Korçe Qark, representatives of the District Education Directorate, children and teachers from the 9th grade schools of Bulgarec Commune, inhabitants from the villages at the vicinity, representatives of Procredit Bank as well as representatives of the Albanian Development Fund which has enabled the reconstruction of this Center.

After the presentation of the jury and guest by the Chairman of the Commune, the activity was launched on the competition on Children’s Rights, which was made up of poems and mini-drama performed by children. The jury awarded some symbolic prizes for the winning team, which was the 9th grade school of Shamoll. The organization of this activity was supported by Procredit Bank and the humanitarian organization “Dorcas” “Tabita”.

The reconstruction of the Bulgarec Community Center which was carried out in May 2008 in the framework of “Community Works II” Project is accomplished by the Albanian Development Fund (ADF) through World Bank Funding and the Commune of Bulgarec at a cost of 14,000,000 leke. This center provides a broad range of social, cultural and artistic activities for all age groups.

The Albanian Development Fund which was invited in this activity as investor has financed in the course of the past years in this commune 6 (six) infrastructure subprojects at a cost of 65, 000, 000 leke. Whereas in Korçe Qark, the Albanian Development Fund, since its establishment in 1993 has implemented 137 infrastructure subprojects which include reconstruction of road sections, school building constructions, public buildings, irrigation and sewerage projects..
