In the framework of the Financing Agreement from the German Government through KFW on the “Rural Water Supply Program”, the ADF has announced the projects which are qualified for financing.

To this purpose, meetings were held from 24 to 26 November, 2009 at ADF's premises with the chairmen of the 24 Communes in the Districts of Shkodra, Kukes and Diber concerning the investments for the 28 community-based water supply schemes.

The representatives of the local government units were introduced to the steps to be undertaken in the implementation of this project, and they also signed the Preliminary Investment Agreement based on the support and good-will of the representatives from the respective villages.

The qualified projects for investment according to Districts are as follows:

Having signed the Preliminary Investment Agreement, the Communes get engaged in an important cooperation process with the ADF for the designing, implementation, function and maintenance of the community-based water supply schemes in compliance with the contemporary parameters for the sustainable development of the communes.
