ADF has been selected from the Albanian Government as technical consultant for the Competitive grants. Since 2005, Albanian Government is applying a new form of support for Local Government Units. All Albanian LGU-s are invited to present their priorities in a country wide competition. This year the evaluation and development of the ranking list for the participants have been delegated to ADF. During the last month an evaluation methodology has been created for this purpose. This methodology is based on the successful experience of ADF for the selection of World Bank Projects for 2006. Starting from May 4, 2007, ADF has sent five expert teams on the field, for the evaluation of more than 700 road infrastructure projects. This evaluation will end on May 18.
